Creative Ways to Organize Your Sentiments

In the world of Stampin' Up! the last day of September is our fiscal year. There's much to think about as a demonstrator. As I sat at the computer writing this post, my mind was spinning with topics such as:

• Deciding what to do with retired stamps.
• How to adopt SU's new packaging for stamp sets, past and present.
• Which ideas to use when organizing stamps?

In a recent post, I shared my thoughts about which retired products I should keep, donate, or sell. Today, I realized I didn't mention another important reason - the sentiment. Therefore, in this sixth series of organizing, I will focus on sentiments and address the bulleted topics that are on my mind.

Spreadsheet

How do I find the stamps when I am looking for a sentiment? I have a helpful process that I follow when my order arrives. Years ago, I started a Google spreadsheet with categories such as Birthdays, Get Well, Anniversaries, Congratulations, and so forth. I fill in the information before storing the stamp cases or envelopes. Below is a clip to show the columns and rows on the spreadsheet.

Sentiment Storage

Do you purchase stamps because of the wording or saying? I do. I keep the stamp sets with wording that is used often on my cards or scrapbooks. Scraps come in handy for favorite sentiments. 

 

Plastic boxes purchased at Dollar General are handy for storage small cardstock scraps.

Set aside time in your planner to stamp sentiments. All those tiny scraps are useful when they are die cut or punched out and ready to use. 

Plano Fishing Tackle Boxes are high on my list to store sentiments. 

More Messages is a bundle that works perfectly for preparing sentiments and having them ready for card making.

I have used a magnetic photo album with much success until recently, when the adhesive started sticking to the labels. I need to use this storage system more before recommending it. 

My mind will continue to spin with ideas for the sentiments and stamp sets. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments. I will appreciate your suggestions!

Big Changes Happening with Stampin' Up! Products

What's Happening at Stampin' Up!

On today's blog post, I am keeping my message brief so that you can read about what's happening at Stampin' Up! In the upcoming months, there will be changes in packing, product availability, and manufacturing. Our world is changing, and therefore, the raw materials needed to produce items are in short supply. Also, customers' wishes change, and Stampin' Up! listens to their opinions. Here we go with the news!

• Starting with November 2025 Online Exclusives, all new stamps will be photopolymer.

• In December 2025, all cling stamps in the September–December 2025 Mini Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last.
• Starting in April 2026, all cling stamps in the 2025–2026 Annual Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last. 
• Cling stamps released in Online Exclusives through September 2025 will be supported—based on demand—until April 2026 at the latest. Some will likely discontinue prior to April.
• The final transition will be April 2026 when all cling stamps move to Last Chance. 
• There are no plans to move existing Cling Stamps to photopolymer. 

Stamp and Die Organizers

• The new Stamp & Die Organizers will be space-saving with friendly updates that make it easier to store stamps and dies together.
• Starting November 4, 2025, the 5-5/8" x 9" organizers will be available in packs of ten.
• The Standard Stamp Cases will be available to purchase but will part of the review process to see if they need to retire in the future.
• Clear packaging will allow the inside product to be seen.
• An envelope closure includes a tuck-in flap for ease of opening and closing.
• Die packaging will exhibit art work to identify the product! 
• Embossing folders will not be changing at this time.
• Note: I measured the Stamp-n-Storage magnet. It's size is 4 7/8" wide x 6 3/4" high; therefore, the magnet card will fit inside of the SU Organizers.
