How to Create the 3D Window Garden Effect

Have you ever wanted to create a unique 3D window garden effect on your homemade cards? It's easier than you think!

  • First, cut out a rectangle using the Scalloped Contours die and create an opening with the Heartfelt Hexagon punch.
  • Then, stamp and color the cut-out shape.
  • Next, layer the hexagon shape on the blended background using Dimensionals.
  • Berry Burst Ink and Blending Brushes created the ombre effect for the background.
  • Finally, add adhesive to the back of the stamped hexagon and gently position it on the background paper.

This simple technique will add depth and dimension to your cards. Try it out today!

Valentine's Day Tip

Are you looking for Valentine's Day card ideas? Stamp the entire flower in a light green color (I used Lemon Lime Twist.) and then add a Berry Burst heart-shaped stamp over the flower. A few dots using the writing tip of a Stampin' Blends to add a bit more color. Viola! Your homemade card is ready for giving.
