Organize Your Scrapbooking Cell Phone Pictures Using the "First Image" Concept
December caught me by surprise with all the warm weather we were having in Wisconsin. Reality hit me when a recent snowstorm arrived!
How do I use these monthly images or pictures? At the start of each month, I copy & paste the first image and upload it to my camera - or I take a photo. I hope you enjoy your "first image" for December's pics. 😍
The last day of the month, I scroll through all the pics and make decisions:
- print for scrapbooking using my Canon Selphy,
- make copies for friends and family,
- discard the image,
- or archive it for a future file.
- I also chronologically back up the important pictures to an external hard drive. The program allows me to label images and create face recognition files.
This process has been life-changing since I started resetting the images on my cell phone each month. Lauren Hines, a Creative Memories Consultant, was my inspiration for this organization process called POP.
Have you started your planner for 2026? Remember to take time for your hobbies.
At the beginning of the year, I schedule the last day of each month in my Happy Planner for scrapbooking four pages of pictures. It's such a splendid feeling to have our family's special moments in an album. If I want to expand the memories, I can always use archived photos to create additional albums.
Did you know that Stampin' Up! bought Close to my Heart and currently sells Memory Keeping supplies? In January 2026, a new Mini Catalog reveals an assortment of Designer Series Paper, cardstock, stickers, stamps, and die cuts for paper crafting!
Take care,
Linda Ann
