What Happens When You Mix Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape Cardstock?

What Happens When You Mix Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape Cardstock? It's Time to Celebrate!

Have you ever wondered how card makers effortlessly select their color schemes? One tip is to discover inspiration from the hues of the Designer Series Paper. I selected the vibrant Granny Apple Green paired with Gorgeous Grape accents in the Celebratory Sips DSP.

Another tip for selecting colors is to look at the package of paper. Each Stampin' Up! DSP pack comes with a handy cardboard insert or label that reveals the color palette.

To elevate your designs, try tearing cardstock for added texture and embossing with plaid patterns to create depth.

Seek out the invaluable More Messages stamp set and dies; they are essential tools for crafting personalized sentiments, ideal for a quick card label. I encourage you to explore these techniques and share your celebration card creations on my Tranquillity Cottage Facebook page.

Take care,
Linda Ann

Card Making Using a Single Stamp

You Can Do Anything

There's something classy about a single stamped flower, especially when paired with a black and white theme to send a card of encouragement. Add a gingham Timeless Plaid Designer's Series Paper to complete the look.  Follow the button link for a free measurement recipe to create this card.

My document file is overflowing with "recipes" of homemade cards, and it is time to share them with you. Watch for additional card posts on the Gallery throughout the next couple of months!De

Why do I have so many cards? I participate in the Creative Crafters Stamping to Share Demonstrator's monthly card making. Members create cards to publish on the group's page. I am excited to share my cards with you!

Included with each card post is a link to a printable recipe that provides the materials, along with cutting directions. If you are looking for supplies, I have enclosed links to the products used in crafting the cards at the end of the corresponding blog posts. Some of the supplies may be retired, but enjoy being creative with substitutions.

Remember to sign up for my eNews to receive a free monthly recipe, complete with a project sheet and instructions! See the form at the end of each blog post.

Take care,
Linda Ann
