How to Choose Nature-Inspired Color Palettes

Exploring the Connection Between Colors and Nature

Sitting on our deck and looking at the beautiful sunset over the flowage, I thought that colors must be nature's way of sharing a smile with us. The words calm and relaxation came to mind. We are fortunate to enjoy this view often.

Afterward, I walked to my cottage studio to capture that peacefulness by crafting a homemade card. I embraced my emotions with the delightful Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Journey Designer's Series Paper - stunning scenery and colors. It is one of my favorite collections, with warm hues and restful images that provide a palette of colors.

Embrace the emotions that come alive with each shade, and remember, paper crafting isn't just about making; it's about expressing the beautiful spectrum of your feelings. So, gather your supplies, and let's paint the world with our colorful creations!

Cardmakers have suggested that they make and send three cards a week. I am adopting this recommendation to keep in touch with family and friends. There's a group of gals in a nearby town who make birthday cards for residents living in senior housing. Great ideas for sending smiles with colorful cards.

Take care,
Linda Ann Hinde
